Director of Special Services

Dr. Gregory Boerio serves as the Director of Special Services for the Knoch School District. Previously, he served as Principal of Knoch Primary School for three years. Before joining Knoch, Dr. Boerio was the Executive Director of The Rich Center for Autism at Youngstown State University. His previous experience also includes serving as a State Support Team Consultant and State Personnel Development Grant Lead, as well as working in public education as a School Psychologist and Assistant Director of Special Education.

Dr. Boerio earned a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Youngstown State University, an Education Specialist Degree and a Master's Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor's Degree from Duquesne University. He also holds Principal Certification from Franciscan University and has completed all coursework for Pennsylvania Superintendent Letter of Eligibility certification through Point Park University, and is currently pursuing certification.
