Superintendent

Dr. Melissa Grantz has dedicated her entire educational career to the Knoch School District, serving students, staff, and families since 2008. She began her career as a teacher, coach, and advisor and has since held numerous leadership roles, including Assistant Principal of Knoch High School, Principal of the Knoch Cyber Academy, Assistant Superintendent, and now Superintendent of Schools.

Dr. Grantz earned her Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), her Master of Education in Instructional Leadership and Principal Certification from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, and her Superintendent Letter of Eligibility from California University of Pennsylvania. In June 2024, she completed her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Administration and Leadership through PennWest University.
