KHS/KMS Mental Health Clinician

Hello Knoch Knights! I am Monica Gizienski, and I am the Mental Health Clinician at Knoch Middle School and Knoch High School.  I come from a long line of Knoch alumni, and I am proud to keep honoring the legacy.  I graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a masters degree in social work from the University of Pittsburgh.  These universities provided me with experiences working with adolescents and adults ranging from research to patient care.  I received my license to practice social work (LSW) this winter, and I am working towards my clinical license (LCSW).

My current position here at the school district is the mental health clinician and liaison for the Knights Assistance Program (KAP).  The KAP program is designed to be an educational resource for students in Knoch Middle School and Knoch High School.  The goal of this program is to connect with students and assist them in engaging with the academic and social learning process.  Students who are experiencing social-emotional, learning, attendance, and/or connection challenges have the opportunity to participate in this program within the school setting.

As a former Knight, it is an honor to be serving this district.  If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to me via email at [email protected] or call (724) 352-1700, ext. 3115.

Let’s go, Knights!
