Keystone Challenge looks at Improving State Parks

Forty-one students from the high and middle schools attended the Keystone Challenge at Grove City College on November 2. They competed against each other and students from Butler, Mercer, and Lawrence counties. Each group was challenged to create an innovative design that would improve Pennsylvania’s state parks. Knoch’s projects included an all-terrain wheelchair, a water park that powers itself, a discovery box to aid in park exploration, and a trash can that required a code to keep animals out.
