Students in Mrs. Massari's fourth-grade reading classes participated in presentations by Mr. Adler and Mr. Swope from Adler and Son's Tree Services, and Mr. Jacobs, owner of Peak Ski and Board. The students learned valuable information about owning and operating small businesses in their community, as well as ways their businesses give back to the community. The students had the opportunity to ask questions and were able to make connections to their current reading story, "Kids in Business." What a fun day!
