Two Knoch band students recently had the opportunity to showcase their talents at a prestigious Pittsburgh-area event!
On Saturday, September 5, Senior Jack Reckard and Junior Hattie Ellison were selected to perform at the Monroeville Jazz Festival. Jack and Hattie joined two students from neighboring school districts to form a quartet for the festival.
Their quartet was one of just eight groups selected to perform that day and one of only two youth groups featured at the event.
The Monroeville Jazz Festival has been a well-loved community tradition since 2002, bringing musicians and jazz fans together from across the Pittsburgh region.
