Last week, Amy Metrick from 4-H visited our Kindergarten through 2nd-grade classrooms to celebrate Agricultural Literacy Week. This statewide initiative highlights the importance of agriculture and farming while helping students better understand where their food comes from.
During her visit, Amy read “Cow Can Moo! Can You? All About Farms with Dr. Seuss” and engaged students in a fun, hands-on activity. Students were invited to draw their favorite foods and identify where those items originate on a farm.
