The 2026 KHS Chief Science Officers (CSOs) have been busy this week. On Monday, February 23rd, the boys travelled to the Regional Learning Alliance for the Mars New Year Countdown Breakfast. The guest speaker was Dr. Catherine Regan from the Dept of Physics and Astronomy at WVU. She has worked with both NASA and the ESA, and her focus is on the study of Mars. On Tuesday, February 24, they travelled to the Grove City Intermediate Unit, where they learned about drone technology and virtual reality. The CSOs this year are sophomores Carter Manzer and Kade Sundie and juniors Liam Avon, Carter Beres, Ethan Lauer, and Jack McCool. The CSOs will be announcing their 2026 project soon.
