Our 6th-grade innovators—Leon Jones, Annabelle Graper, Ben Markewicz, Taylor Caplan, and Alina Akbari—took 1st place in the Keystone STEM Competition (Grades 5–6)! Their winning prototype transformed standard classroom closets into emergency-ready panic rooms designed to protect students during critical situations.
Competing against 160 local students and more than 4,000 statewide, this standout team will be recognized by the PA Department of Education!
We also celebrate our Grade 7–8 teams—Owen Weleski, Zeke Osikowicz, Landon Terwilliger, Logan Knight, Ezra Novotny, Sofia Goetz, Emme Jones, Lucy Manzer, Quinn West, Kolin Moser, Quinn McCool, Kellen Chupka, Brayden Belton, Adam Cristallino, and Easton Hull—who engineered creative projects including an ergonomic chair, a fully adjustable student desk, and an innovative bathroom design.\
