Students Visit Adams Manufacturing

Seniors Greyson Rhodes and Andrew Wick are participating in the 4th Annual Butler County Student Advisory Board, where high school students in 11th and 12th grade are invited to join other students from across Butler County to visit manufacturers, learn about local businesses, and share feedback with the Butler County Manufacturing Consortium. On January 14, the students visited Adams Manufacturing in Portersville along with peers from Butler, Mars, and Moniteau. They toured the shop floor and saw how a variety of outdoor furniture is made, including the famous Adirondack chairs. They also had the opportunity to meet and ask questions with Knoch 2021 alumna Brianna Downing, who recently graduated from Penn State Behrend with a degree in engineering and is now working at Adams Manufacturing.
