​Marine recruiter Sgt. Joseph Williams gave a presentation to Mrs. Lauren Lemmon Hoffman's 9th grade classes on the Montford Point Marines and their many contributions to the U.S. military during WWII as a part of their Black History Month celebration. He also went to Mr. Rick Hayden's concert band to give a presentation on the Marine bands, as he played the clarinet in their band before he started his recruiting duties. Sgt. Williams engaged the students in conversation, and they were extremely interested in the material he presented.
