KMS Air & Space Student Flies High!

Hunter Essary from KMS Flight and Space Class has created a great glider and placed very high in the competition.

The Flight and Space students, under Mr. Purdy's guidance, have been working for the past couple of weeks in a software program called Whitebox Learning Gliders 2.0.  The students perform research, design / engineer gliders, and fly them in a competition.  When students reach level 5, they are flying against other students across the country.  Hunter built a glider that flew for 9.2 seconds and achieved a ranking of 22nd out of 2,289 students that entered.
