Congratulations to Knoch Intermediate Elementary School students Ben Markiewicz, Annabelle Graper, and Taylor Caplan on earning Honorable Mention in the Toshiba/NSTA Exploravision National Science Competition.
The ExploraVision competition challenges the students to solve real-world problems through STEM. They have to identify a problem and research past, present, and future technology that could solve the problem. Taylor, Ben, and Annabelle designed a Food Sensor to address the 600 million people around the world who become ill from spoiled food each year and the estimated 420,00 who die from it. They won Honorable Mention out of over 3,000 entries. Well done!
